Company overview and history
Established in 1995 by entrepreneurs Pip and Amelia Thorne, we are one of the largest internet development agencies in the north of England. A few facts about us:
- We introduced the first solely online bank, smile.co.uk
- In 1996 we brought the first High Street bank to the world wide web - The Co-operative Bank
- In 2001 we were the fastest growing company in the UK based in an inner-city area and winners of the inaugural Inner City 100 Awards, backed by Rt. Hon Gordon Brown
- A growth surge in 2004 took the company from 100th to 74th in New Media Age's Top 100 interactive agencies
- We are committed to meeting internet accessibility guidelines, as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
