Environmental policy
Introduction
As part of TechnoPhobia's ISO14001 certification process we are required (and indeed, want) to publicise our environmental policy, our current environmental impacts and our targets and objectives to improve said impacts, therefore we publish them here:
The Policy
TechnoPhobia is committed to an environmental policy that will:
- be appropriate to the nature, scale and environmental impacts of its activities, products and services
- include a commitment to continual improvement, prevention of pollution and reduction of energy use
- include a commitment to compliance with applicable legal requirements and any other requirement which relate to environmental aspects
- be utilised to plan, design and operate TechnoPhobia's facilities
- provide a framework to monitor its progress and ensure continual improvement to meet environmental regulations
- be used to meet pollution prevention goals which follow the hierarchy of: prevention, recycling/reuse, treatment and disposal
- be documented, implemented, maintained, and communicated to its employees and the public

These figures will be updated as data comes in from our energy & waste monitoring procedures.
Current Targets for the Year 2006/07
- Reduce our electricity consumed per employee by 10% before December 2006.
- Find a resource for recycling household waste from Head Office site before July 2006.
- Move to a 'Green Energy' Supplier before December 2006.
- Calculate 'Carbon Footprint' for Company before July 2006.
- Train all Employees in Environmental Awareness by Dec 2006.
