Dynamic Union, Dynamic Site
05/05/2008
The Sheffield Hallam Students' Union plays a pivotal role in the lives of 2800 students, providing support services, opportunities, entertainment and representing the diverse needs of its members. The motivation behind the redevelopment is to further support students by extending the reach of the current site. We will help them achieve this through the inclusion of more mechanisms to encourage a greater number of its members to engage, including those currently marginalised by the student community.
The new site will reflect the vibrant interactive character of the Union with the inclusion of features to encourage social-networking, collaboration and the sharing of information. The site will proactively support the promotion of events, activities and entertainment, sports, health and welfare issues.
Technophobia will provide the Students’ Union with the ability to dynamically interact and respond to the site's changing requirements using a Content Management System (CMS).
When awarding us the contract Amy Ward (Hallam Students Union - Marketing Manager) kindly said that we were..."the unanimous choice of the decision panel, and they were 100% convinced that Technophobia is the best agency to work with".
