Web / User Experience Designer
If you would love to…
Design large and small web applications for public and private sector clients:
-Get inside the head of the users and produce user-centred interfaces
-Produce wireframes and interactive prototypes, site maps and workflows
-Design gorgeous, highly usable web app and website interfaces
-Create semantic, accessible, and standards compliant xhtml/css to the highest standards
-Translate brands into successful online experiences
-Present and justify your ideas and work iteratively with clients
-Bring in the latest and greatest web2.0 & social networking type ideas, identifying any that are right for each project, not just the shiniest! (Sorry, we promise never, ever to say web2.0 again)
-Work with software engineers who use frameworks and templating systems like JSF, .Net -Masterpages, Rails and Smarty
-Prepare, interpret and conduct user testing and expert reviews
-Research and keep up to date with best practices in user-centred design, user experience, and interface design.
And you have…
-A passion for user experience, interface design and the web
-At least 3 years industry experience in a related role
-Excellent communication, interpersonal and client relation skills and the ability to work in a team
-Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
