Security

We have a long pedigree in providing expertise in internet security; working within the financial sector designing and building high profile, high resistant, secure websites and applications.

Good internet security is achieved by taking a cohesive approach to the design of the whole system; not just to consider the physical and technological security of the hardware and software but also the implications of integration and interface with the business process and its users.   Good practice is achieved by building security into the entire system.

Security encompasses all aspects of site design and build; the coding of secure robust software applications and the way which data and information is accessed, held, collected and transmitted. Good security must not only include the detection and prevention of threats or breaches to system and information integrity, it can also assist in the detection of abuse or fraudulent activity within the applications themselves.

The software we deliver is designed to withstand the penetration testing that we frequently welcome by independent consultants.

We are experienced in providing eprocurement and ecommerce transactional websites and are able to deploy secure payment systems that are compliant to PCIDSS, (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards).

Our implementation of leading-edge encryption technology, secure messaging, login and password functions ensures that there is no vulnerability within the systems that we deploy; the security and integrity of data management and transfer is never compromised.

Within our hosting environment we undertake regular vulnerability scanning of firewalls, networks, server and hosting platforms, and welcome audits by independent consultants, these have recently included RBS and South Yorkshire Police.

Technophobia’s own Information Security Policy and systems are covered by ISO27001 security accreditation.
